Real Republicans can win by …defeat!

What happened to Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney--to that effective, inventive, practical, brilliant, even progressive leader? Look what he has become: a little bit of everything, a political Frankenstein that with his imminent defeat he hopefully will bring down the party machine that turned him into this unrecognizable monster.

And that will be the main upshot of this sad story: if the reactionary elements that have captivated a party that brought so many good things to America are forced, like fleeing mice, to abandon ship and leave space for reasonable people to come in and take the lead. Let us hope that the band of W., Gingrich, Santorum, Rove and, yes, Romney, will be a distant nightmare four years from now.

Besides, every time Mitt Romney opens his mouth, he makes new ...enemies! Obama should not bother campaigning, let Mitt do the job for both, and if you don’t believe me you might have watched last week’s debate! Yes, Romney was more articulate, better-looking, more presidential, etc. etc. but the fact remains that he remained distant from the majority of people in this country who happen to be …poor! And no matter how many tricks Rove’s cohorts pull with voting lists, voting machines and …felonization—mistakes, supposedly, that have the tendency to occur by a margin of more than 400% in areas where people of color, “Hispanics”, even retired …Jews live (read “Billionaires & Ballot Bandits: How to Steal an Election in 9 Easy Steps”, by investigative reporter Greg Palast), that 47% you discarded the other day can deliver the vote and mucho mas to your opponent, whether he deserves it or not!

And with Ryan as Mitt's running mate, Sarah Palin can finally feel vindicated! That guy is much worse (for the country), only better equipped and schooled, thus more dangerous (and not even as good looking as Sarah!!!).

The best thing for the Republican Party at this point would be that the Romney/Ryan ticket get utterly defeated, if they get the lowest percentage ever! Only then the party will be able to cleanse itself from the poisonous infection brought in by persistent bacteria like George W. Bush, Karl Rove, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, Mitt Romney and the Tea …baggers. Only if their unelectability is proven in the most dramatic way can reason find its way back to the Party.

Where are the optimistic Republicans, the people who do things, the strong characters who fight adversities instead of evoking – if not provoking - them in order to win elections?

What we’ve been witnessing so far isn’t the Republican Party but a former…Communist Party…trying to avoid disaster by stoking people’s resentment with real and imagined pending disasters, employing fear in order to captivate weaklings, not in inspiring and empowering. If that entity is the Republican Party, then the People’s Republic of North Korea is a …democracy!

PS: ROMNEY CHEATS THE MORMON CHURCH! Using a number of legal but questionable schemes, Mitt Romney has managed to pay significantly less taxes than the rest of us. That's bad for the country, but even worse for his Mormon Church, because he's supposed to offer one tenth, I believe, from his net yearly profits. By hiding or reducing his net gains, in order to pay less in taxes, he cheats his church as well, because his tithe becomes smaller! Mormon leaders, are you listening?
