HABA Honors Hollywood Movie Producer Michael Tadross

The Hellenic American Bankers Association will honor Michael Tadross, Hollywood Movie Producer at Warner Bros., as its 2015 Executive of the Year, on Thursday, June 4th, 2015 at the Union League Club of New York.  A cocktail reception from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm will precede the seated dinner at which Mr. Tadross will be honored. Dignitaries will be in attendance as guests of honor. Penny Manis, Director of Business News Programming, at CNN International, will be the Mistress of Ceremonies. There will be a special introduction by New York Emmy Award-Winning TV News Anchor at FOX 5, Ernie Anastos.

Michael Tadross most recently produced Warner Bros. Pictures crime thriller, “Run All Night,” starring Liam Neeson and Ed Harris. Tadross also produced the mythical love story “Winter’s Tale,” starring Colin Farrell and Russell Crowe. His other producing endeavors include the gritty drama “Gangster Squad,” starring Ryan Gosling and Josh Brolin; “Arthur,” starring Russell Brand and Helen Mirren; “Cop Out,” starring Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan; Guy Ritchie’s action-adventure mystery “Sherlock Holmes,” starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law; and on the Will Smith action thriller “I Am Legend” and the comedy “Hitch.”

He also produced a wide range of motion pictures, including “Basic,” starring John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson; “Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding,” “Rollerball,” with Chris Klein and LL Cool J; “The Thomas Crown Affair,” starring Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo; “Jack Frost,” with Michael Keaton; “The Devil’s Advocate,” starring Al Pacino and Keanu Reeves; “Eraser,” with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Vanessa Williams and James Caan; “Indecent Proposal,” with Robert Redford and Demi Moore; “School Ties,” with Brendan Frazier, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck; and “Die Hard: With a Vengeance,” starring Bruce Willis, Jeremy Irons and Samuel L. Jackson, which was one of the top five grossing films of 1995.

Tadross also served as Executive Vice President of Feature Production at Paramount Pictures from 1991 to 1994.

He was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Wagner College, and was an award-winning photojournalist before beginning his film career as a camera trainee and assistant film editor.
