Watch Out for THEATRON’s “Crazy Wife”!

THEATRON’S new comedy premieres at the Hellenic Cultural Center in Astoria from October 24^th to November 23^rd.  Performances will take place on Fridays and Saturdays at 8PM and Sundays at 3:00 and 7:30PM.

MY CRAZY WIFE

“My Crazy Wife” is a theatrical adaptation by Manos Pantelidis, inspired by the play Pink Sins. Mr. Pantelidis, who also stars in the show as Manos, portrays a wealthy businessman. He and George, a psychiatrist, are good friends and are married to Anna and to Yuli respectively. They often pretend to be out at night on “business”. However, their evening outings are all about visiting cabarets and flirting with young dancers.  Anna, determined to discover the true nature of her husband’s nightlife, pretends that she has gone “crazy” and behaves in ways that in turn make her husband equally suspicious of her.  George advises Manos that the only way to find out if Anna has truly gone “nuts” is for Manos to pretend that he also has lost his mind.  The play is full of comical reversals and unexpected farcical episodes and it is directed by Loukas N.
